He
earned a Faculty of Arts degree from Teheran University. He learned
to play the “Tar” as well as the “Setar” and
deepened his musical knowledge with great masters of traditional Iranian
music such as Houshang Zarif, Mohamad Reza Lofti, and Ataolah Zahed
Shirazi. In parallel he pursued studies in calligraphy. He gave many
concerts, workshops and exhibitions all over the world and published
several articles in magazines dedicated to Arts and to Iranian music.
Since 2002 he has continued his studies at the “Ecole des Beaux-Arts”
in Valenciennes, France. Today he studies at the doctoral school of
Sorbonne in Paris. There he devotes himself to researching the links
that exist between calligraphy and music.
